Vivo launched its new mid-range smartphone Y55s in India.
The Y55s features a 720p 5.2 Inch screen with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and a 3GB of RAM. The handset has 16GB of internal storage with a options of MicroSD card slot. A 2730mAh battery powers the handsets and it runs on Vivo’s inhouse customized Android UI Vivo Funtouch OS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0. It misses out on a fingerprint scanner. But the device has a separate microSD card slot along with a separate dual-SIM card slot which is rare to find in most of the devices nowadays.
It has a highlight feature of smart-screen split which allow users to multi-task as well as use multiple apps simultaneously. The device is priced at Rs. 12,490.
