Last week on Wednesday Sony unveiled its lastest smartphone Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. The world’s first smartphone to have a 4K resolution display on a mobile device setting a new benchmark in display technology on mobile device.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium sports a 5.5 inches 4k trimluminos display with 3840 x 2160 px resolution which converts to the whopping 806 ppi. The camera on the Z5 premium is also upgraded with a new 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor with a resolution of 23MP which captures 4K videos. It can focus faster than a human eye can blink. It just requires 0.03 seconds to focus and capture perfect photos. The upgraded sensor and lens promises to give better night photos and 5x digital zoom with minimal quality loss. On the front it has a 5MP snapper with an Exmor R sensor capable on recording 1080p videos.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM. 32GB on board storage with a option to expand to a 200GB micro SD card.
The new addition is the fingerprint sensor on the power key.
